Why I Think Game Consoles Are Getting Smaller…

I went over to her place the other day and her daughter was having a sleep over. I had never seen anything like it. These four girls, aged 9 – 10 years old, were all sitting in the loungeroom, talking to each other, via their Nintendo DSi’s!
It got me thinking about how small these game consoles are going to get. I Just found this article talking about how game consoles are becoming smaller and it’s seriously blowing my mind.
Technology like this, and like the iphone, just goes to show how far we’ve become. You can access the world in your pocket. With more and more kids getting into this technology, a parent does worry what it’s doing for their social skills…
Lets hope we all use it for good, encourage a balance between ‘tech’ and real life, and not get caught up in it’s tiny, tiny world.
