An expectant Mum will sometimes want to listen in on baby for various reasons. Sometimes she is anxious and just wants some reassurance, but at other times when baby is being quiet Mum just wants a quick listen in.
They are very easy to use, and it takes about 2 minutes to set it up, find the heart beat and start listening.
They are not expensive to buy, but you also have the choice of renting one for the duration of the pregnancy if you would prefer that option.
Renting a pre natal heart monitor can sometimes allow you to go for a much more advanced expensive model, than you would if you had to buy it outright.
