What’s this Country song called?
November 28th, 2009 | by admin |I heard a country song a couple days ago, and have no clue what it’s called, or who sing’s it. The only lyrics that keep playing in my head are, " Ya, he’s grown up to be a man"! I know it’s NOT that song that goes, "I’ve been watching you dad, aint that cool, I’m your buckaroo I want to be like you" It’s a song about a dad realizing that his son has grown up! Please help! It’s a slow song.
VERY CUTE SONG The first time I heard it, I about died… it was great.. how he accidently taught his son to curse… I would cry if I did that.

He closed his little eyes, folded his little hands
Spoke to God like he was talkin’ to a friend.
And I said, “Son, now where’d you learn to pray like that?”

cats in the cradle
A child arrived just the other day,
He came to the world in the usual way.
But there were planes to catch, and bills to pay.
He learned to walk while I was away.
And he was talking ‘fore I knew it, and as he grew,
He’d say, "I’m gonna be like you, dad.
You know I’m gonna be like you."
And the cat’s in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man in the moon.
"When you coming home, dad?" "I don’t know when,
But we’ll get together then.
You know we’ll have a good time then."
My son turned ten just the other day.
He said, "Thanks for the ball, dad, come on let’s play.
Can you teach me to throw?" I said, "Not today,

I’ve long since retired and my son’s moved away.

And as I hung up the phone, it occurred to me,
